JOB PURPOSE

The Full‑Time Outlet Visual Merchandising Ambassador is responsible for executing Burberry’s Visual Merchandising (VM) directives within their assigned store. They ensure all corporate visual standards are consistently met, driving productivity and enhancing the customer journey. The role involves close collaboration with store management, the Regional VM team, and the wider VMA community to deliver compelling product presentation and localised visual interpretations that align with the global brand vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Visual Merchandising Execution

  • Implement monthly corporate Visual Merchandising guidelines across the store, ensuring key investments and visual principles are correctly represented.
  • Follow guidance from the Visual Merchandiser/Visual Merchandising Manager to plan and execute bi‑monthly window displays, monthly refreshes, and in‑store installations according to brand timelines and standards.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Visual Merchandising expectations, delivery directives, and best‑practice documents.
  • Support the training of retail colleagues and collaborate with store leads on daily visual actions.
  • Ensure all Burberry VM communications and brand initiatives are understood and communicated to the store team.

Planning & Store Productivity

  • Manage sales floor replenishment to maintain a consistent, brand‑appropriate product presentation.
  • In consultation with visual partners, propose and implement localised interpretations of global directives to enhance productivity and customer relevance.
  • Build strong partnerships with the Regional VM team, Store Management, FOH and BOH teams, and the VMA community to make informed visual decisions tailored to the local client base.

Creativity & Collaboration

  • Generate creative visual ideas and styling suggestions to elevate store standards.
  • Support the sales team during peak trading periods to maintain customer‑ready presentation and maximise commercial opportunities.
