JOB PURPOSE

We are hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership of our Roermond store and help bring the Burberry Experience to life every day. In this role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to drive category performance, develop the sales team and deliver exceptional customer journeys. Your impact will be seen in commercial results, team capability and the consistency of Burberry Behaviours on the shop floor. This is an opportunity to grow your leadership craft within Burberry’s luxury retail environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Store Manager in delivering category performance and achieving sales goals.
  • Supervise, coach and develop the sales team to deliver consistently elevated customer experiences.
  • Provide real‑time, constructive performance coaching aligned to the Burberry Experience and Burberry Behaviours.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, inspiring confidence, client focus and pride in craft.
  • Contribute to daily operational excellence, ensuring standards are upheld at all times.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Store Manager, supporting a positive, inclusive and high‑performing team culture.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within premium or luxury retail.
  • A people‑centred leader who enjoys developing others through clear, supportive coaching.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to translate sales goals into day‑to‑day team actions.
  • Calm and confident when making decisions in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Passion for customer experience, craftsmanship and brand storytelling.
  • Open, collaborative and aligned with Burberry’s values and behaviours.
