PURPOSE:

As an integral part of the retail training and education team, you will oversee the planning, delivery and embedment of all retail training  to our field teams across East Coast doors in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring consistency in service excellence and behaviours to support KPI achievement. Audience includes retail operations, client advisor and store management colleagues.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

CONTENT FACILITATION

 

• In partnership with the Americas Training Director, market teams, and store partners, plan and implement all training activities in alignment with the global and regional training calendars.
• Demonstrate executive presence with the ability to facilitate large-scale (100+ attendees) in-person trainings in a conference-style format.
• Facilitate Train-the-Trainer (TTT) and large-format training initiatives as needed.

• Plan, create, and deliver virtual trainings related to product styling, education, and competency development, as directed by the Training Director and Market Director(s).
• Coach and train sales teams through on-the-floor observation and collaborative partnership moments.

• Establish a strong market training framework by developing training points of contact across the field for delivery and feedback.
• Measure impact through selling KPIs and client feedback mechanisms (NPS, GEE), and evaluate opportunities to drive greater impact through training or process improvements.

 

 

IMPACT:

• Partner with the Market Director and Store Manager to assess store needs and develop both store-wide and individual training strategies.
• Leverage business and commercial acumen to report on the impact of training and identify skill development needs for behavioral change through store visit recaps.

• Provide regular program feedback and solutions to corporate training teams.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, provide feedback, and influence the design and delivery of future programs as needed.

 

LEADING, INFLUENCING AND DEVELOPING OTHERS:

• Coach and provide feedback to retail colleagues on education retention and performance.
• Offer objective feedback and coaching to store leadership as needed, focusing on KPI results and Sales Associate behaviors to influence and drive change.

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to lead and develop teams, preferably in a luxury retail setting.
• Store Manager or multi-store management experience required due to the scope of coverage and responsibilities of the role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on planning and accountability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional business partners and senior leadership.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly and concisely.
• Ability to perform behavioral analysis and develop creative solutions to drive behavioral change.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Mac devices.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within the market, with occasional international travel.

RECRUITMENT INDICATORS:

• The expected base salary for this role will generally range between $130,000.00 and $160,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. However, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis and is only one component of the total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentive programs, and Company-sponsored benefits, depending on the position.

• This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify the base salary (as well as any other discretionary payments or compensation programs) at any time. Such changes may be based on individual performance, overall Company or departmental performance, and market conditions.
