We are currently seeking a Merchandise Planner to oversee our Outlet business. Reporting into our divisional Planning Manager you will be expected to drive the business through strategic development of financial plans and market strategies, inventory management, and driving insightful business analysis.  Planners are responsible for analyzing, identifying, and communicating sales opportunities and risk-mitigating recommendations while aligning with total business goals and collaborating with cross functional teams.



  • Strategically develop, own, and present annual financial plans inclusive of sales, receipts, inventory, and margin
  • Independently develop, manage, and present the financial strategy in monthly Open to Buy meetings
  • Create sales and inventory budgets for bi-annual buying cycles to the required level; category, store, and lifecycle
  • Provide weekly analysis of business as it relates to last year, last forecast, plan, as well as identifying trends and missed opportunities; suggest changes to course of action based on this analysis
  • Partner closely with corporate counterparts and store teams to design & implement strategies to drive sales
  • Ensure target stock levels are updated regularly as dictated by the changing demands of the business  
  • Identify needs of evolving business and adapt ways of working, tools, reporting, and processes to support
  • Support a team-oriented, collaborative environment


  • High level of proficiency in Excel  
  • Bachelor’s Degree  
  • 2+ years of related experience  
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills  
  • Dynamic and thorough understanding of all retail math concepts and OTB management
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, including written and verbal presentation
  • Decision making capability clearly driven by developing strategic product and business initiatives  
  • Creative, proactive and solution-oriented when faced with difficult business performance and/or challenging directives
  • Highly skilled at aggregating data and interpreting into actionable and informative analysis
  • Ability to present and defend a business argument both one-on-one and in a group setting
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
