JOB PURPOSE
To deliver and lead the business plan in line with the Company strategy for Men’s RTW & Children, utilizing the support and strength within the Merchandising team, coaching and developing the team to success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own and drive Critical Path for MRTW and CHILDREN to drive Product range development and implementation of Global Brand buy
• Lead and Partner effectively with cross functional teams both in the region and in headquarter: Collection Merchandising Product Development, Planning, Global Sourcing, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Digital, influencing on key decisions to deliver the strategic direction for the category and to protect the brand
• Analyze weekly /monthly sales reports and propose appropriate action to take: proactively drive the business and anticipate needs and issues
• Create effective working relationships with Retail team (Market Directors, store managers) to gain product feedback and market research
• Partner with Client Engagement to support client initiatives
• Collect and present competitor analysis to HQ partners & advocate for market needs
• Responsible for developing and monitoring range plan in line with development targets.
• Coach, manage and lead with the merchandising team (inspire, motivate, coach, nurture and develop), and develop a direct report.
• Develop and present the range plan including pricing, COO and competition strategy with the support of a Merchandising assistant(s) and validate with Director of Merchandising.
• Present Brand buy to Regional teams for Market Opening.
• Partner with wider Merchandising team to create strong product knowledge training for the category seasonally.
PERSONAL PROFILE
• 5-7 years’ experience within merchandising or buying, retail preferred (large multi category brand).
• Demonstrated people management experience.
• Strong merchandising experience and retail mindset.
• Passion for product/fashion trends.
• Demonstrates high commercial instinct.
• Strong analytical and retail math skills.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
• Strong communication skills across the business with key stakeholders.
• Established relationships with merchandising and planning team.
• Successful participation in market.

Expected base salary for the role will generally be between $115,000.00 and $130,000.00 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
