PURPOSE
The Client Advisor is responsible for building client relationships with a focus on fostering meaningful connections, recognising key milestones, and upholding Burberry’s luxury standards to support client loyalty and engagement. The role contributes to the delivery of the Burberry Forward strategy through service excellence and commercial performance.
Reporting to Store Management, the Client Advisor requires strong knowledge of fashion and styling, with proven ability in client engagement and selling. The role focuses on delivering a personalised experience that supports commercial objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
• Build and maintain client relationships through personalised engagement and regular follow-up.
• Acquire and retain clients to grow the individual and store client book.
• Conduct appointments to drive loyalty, repeat business, and incremental sales.
• Understand client preferences to support styling, wardrobing, and cross-selling.
• Recognise key client milestones to strengthen engagement and retention.
• Accurately capture and manage client data in line with company policies.
• Support the client experience by maintaining store standards and assisting with operational tasks.
SERVICE AND SALES
• Achieve individual and store sales targets and commercial KPIs.
• Deliver a luxury service experience with strong product, fashion, and styling knowledge.
• Guide clients through the full client journey, from first impression to sale and follow-up.
• Provide efficient after-sales support to maintain long-term client relationships.
• Maintain high standards across front and back of house, including stock, replenishment, and inventory tasks.
• Uphold visual standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and collaborative store culture.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
• Achievement of individual and store sales KPIs, including appointments, units per transaction (UPT), average transaction value (ATV), and average unit retail (AUR).
• Delivery of service excellence, measured through Client Compass (Net Promoter Score and mystery shopping).
• Growth in client acquisition, conversion, and retention.
• Consistent engagement in client appointments, contributing to repeat business and client development.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years in a client-centric role.
• Fluent in the local language; English proficiency desirable.
• Additional language skills are a plus.

- Expected base salary for the role will generally be between $26.00 and $27.00 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
