The goal of the Planning function is to drive the business (Revenue, EBIT) through strategic seasonal merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, actionable reporting, and insightful commercial analysis. We achieve this by creating a world class, digitally enabled & integrated end-to-end planning & analysis team which thinks commercially, connects across functions, and delivers efficient merchandise processes. The Wholesale Assistant Planner supports the wholesale/franchise business by providing advice, analysis and guidance on annual and seasonal plans.



  • Pre-Season:
    • Partner with wholesale sales team to develop strategic sales targets by account, division, product assortment, and door for each market. Relay and recap sales targets at all levels to UK corporate planning teams.
    • Partner with wholesale sales team and accounts to develop replenishment plans by style, size, month based on historical sales data, market trends, competitive analysis, strategic plans, responsible for procuring wholesale replenishment inventory
    • Assist in fiscal budgeting prcess at door, division, account level


  • In-Season:
    • Provide quantitative and qualitative financial analysis to support the wholesale team and ensure achievement of business plans (including but not limited to sales and margin goals), identify risks and opportunities in partnership with cross-functional teams.
    • Forecast replenishment inventory & sales weekly; communicate risk / upside and formulate action plans to achieve inventory target levels and sales plans. Responsible for controlling wholesale replenishment inventory levels.


  • Reporting:
    • Responsible for execution, maintenance and distribution of market reporting and recapping to all teams (Americas, Corporate, other regional offices)
    • Responsible for maintaining, updating, recapping revenue forecasts (shipping) in partnership with cross functional teams
    • Responsible for managing monthly OTB to highlight risks and opportunities in sales and inventory   
    • Additional ad-hoc analysis will be required


  • Extremely high level of proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, SAP a plus   
  • Bachelor’s Degree   
  • High level of aptitude for analytics and communication; able to quickly identify actionable items from large amounts of data, and communicate daily with all levels of seniority and global cross functional teams
  • Creative, assertive, and solution-oriented when faced with difficult business performance and/or challenging directives
  • Challenges the status quo; always searching for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
