Purpose

An exciting opportunity to join our EMEIA HR team. As the HR Business Partner for Germany you will develop and implements HR strategies aligned with business goals to engage, attract, motivate and retain the best people and to foster a high-performing work environment. The role involves collaborating with global HR teams and acting as the local HR expert through developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring positive employee relations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Planning: Partner with retail management to analyse workforce trends and develop HR strategies.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Partner with the relevant COEs on recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development. Develop succession plans.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, and use engagement survey results to develop plans to improve employee satisfaction. Develop HR policies and industrial relations strategies that align with business objectives. Manage HR-related risks.
  • Performance Management: Guide managers through performance review, provide support to implement improvement plans, and promote a culture of continuous feedback.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the Reward COE to ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Organisational Development: Support change management, promote diversity and inclusion, and lead initiatives to improve productivity.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics, provide reports and insights as required, and use data to inform decision-making.
  • Coaching: Support and coach line managers on HR issues.

 

Personal Profile

  • Previous Experience as a HR Business Partner are essential 
  • Experience of working effectively with works councils and trade unions would be an advantage.
  • Experience in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and HR initiatives.
  • Experience in the luxury retail industry is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good knowledge of HR best practice and labour law
  • Fluency in German and English are essential
