JOB PURPOSE
The Global Training Content Developer is responsible for the creation, design and production of engaging, commercially focused retail training content that supports business objectives across our global store network.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead creation of retail Training programmes and tools that drive business objectives inc: in-store training activities, seasonal\core product training, onboarding, films, conference materials and other strategic training initiatives.
- Translate complex product, commercial and operational information into clear, digestible and inspiring learning experiences.
- As content designer you will bring your expertise to shape the design, tone of voice and overall standards of our retail training curriculum, developing new creative concepts to ensure we engage and inspire our retail teams.
- Partner with the Retail Training Managers to shape the retail training roadmap, applying strong understanding of retail KPIs to design and deliver training initiatives that drive tangible performance impact.
- Collaborate with central cross-functional teams to ensure training is aligned, has necessary information and approved
- Partner closely with global training teams (our internal clients) to gain feedback and ideas to support work.
- Support and lead TTT (train the trainer) sessions for training teams and/or retail leadership, walking through new training materials, and confidently sharing training objectives, delivery expectations, localisation guidance and managing objections where required.
- Conduct store visits to foster relationships with store leaders and retail teams, supporting training moments and identifying areas of opportunities to inform future content needs.
- Continually review and analyse training app and programme feedback and analytics to inform work.
- Support the evolution of training visual identity, bringing fresh ideas to improve learner engagement and experience content within key learning platforms (including RSpace and other training systems).
- Support scripting, formatting and optimisation of content for digital learning environments.
- Conduct quality checks and testing to ensure seamless user experience across regions.
- Maintain and update existing training modules to ensure accuracy, relevance and brand alignment.
- Assist with translations workflow, ensuring content is clear and localisation-ready.

Minimum 3+ years experience in retail training design and development, preferably in a global function.

Retail experience either on the shop floor or back of house.

Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies and successful implementation to drive commercial success.

Confident with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Strong command of MS ( Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and design tools ( Adobe, canva, video production tools)

Proficient with using and scripting with learning management systems or other training software.
