Supply Chain Excellence Coordinator- 22 month contract

The Supply Chain Excellence Coordinator will be heavily involved in the successful delivery of business related activities for all cross functions as part of the Symphony programme and other Supply Chain excellence initiatives.



  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the Supply Chain processes and tasks
  • Proactively provide forward looking operational insights and advice to Supply Chain Excellence team
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements when capacity allows
  • Lead & chair some programme management and change related meetings for Symphony and other Supply Chain initiatives
  • Collaborate with IT teams to link the business related activities with IT dependencies.
  • Provide support to regular and ad hoc information requests
  • Perform any relevant operational based tasks
  • Perform data analysis to support the decisions making
  • Preparing meeting materials / gathering supporting information for the team
  • Stand in for team members (e.g. completing tasks, managing meetings) during holidays, absence etc.
  • Co-ordination and preparation of the business related governance meetings including materials and pre-briefings.
  • Build effective relationships through both interpersonal skill and technical expertise to aid cross-functional working
  • Ability to collect and analyse data, and clearly communicate the findings to various audiences
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and to lead process improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge and understanding of MS Office toolset and appreciation of SharePoint as a data repository and workflow tool
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy in handling data, reporting, and the presentation of recommendations
  • Ability to work with a lot of data in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to structure activities and tasks in a manner that allows standardisation and repeatability
  • Ability to manage demands from multiple senior stakeholders and prioritise tasks and deliverables according to importance and urgency
  • Ability to keep track of many moving parts in a project and to report on their status and/or performance on an ongoing basis
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information succinctly and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and work effectively with others at all levels across the business
  • Ability to drive desired outputs independently
