JOB PURPOSE 

 

Burberry is looking for an experienced Styling Editor, Still Life & CHW, Digital & Brand to join the Marketing team. In this position you will be overseeing Still Life product styling & CHW styling for Burberry.com, Brand & Social. Maintaining visual consistencies in styling for Accessories, Childrenswear and RTW Flat shots. Playing a key role in pushing forward Still Life styling for Ecommerce and Brand as the permanent and in-house specialist. You will be managing the freelance teams, styling assistants, Style Guide and workflow with pre and post-production teams for continuous improvement and producing the highest quality of imagery. Working with AD teams across Digital to refresh .com channels and tier 2 project creatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Primary Styling Contact: Serve as the key styling point of contact for Still Life Digital Commerce, Brand Campaign, and Childrenswear shoots across Digital and Social channels.
  • End-to-End Styling Management: Oversee product styling for Still Life and Childrenswear, including Virtual Showrooms, Press Look Books, , Product stories and Social projects, Brand Campaigns, and E-commerce projects.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of in-house and freelance stylists, ensuring they are well-briefed on product knowledge, style guides, and business requirements while mentoring and training junior team members.
  • On-Set Collaboration: Style and guide Social and Campaign shoots on set, ensuring the imagery and product representation align with brand standards and creative goals.
  • Daily Studio Oversight: Supervise Still Life sets daily (Accessories, Flats, and Childrenswear), conduct styling reviews, and provide feedback during regular set checks (9am, 1pm & 5pm on each set for styling Review with AD).
  • Creative Development: Test and push creative boundaries to optimize product imagery, addressing inconsistencies and proposing improvements for competitive market alignment.
  • Collaborative Planning: Attend seasonal product walk-throughs with Merchants to test and plan new product shoots and collaborate on weekly scheduling with production, allocating teams based on expertise.
  • Project Execution: Oversee and execute styling for key projects, including Still Life aspects of Brand Campaigns, seasonal Childrenswear campaigns, and additional studio requests for seasonal or .com activation shoots.

 

PERSONAL PROFILE

 

  • Over 4 years of experience in Still Life and Childrenswear styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing editorial and e-commerce work in luxury fashion.
  • Proven ability to manage teams in a studio environment, with exceptional organisational skills for coordinating multiple projects and workflows. A team-oriented leader with excellent communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Demonstrates a strong creative mindset, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to varying work hours and project demands.
  • Comprehensive understanding of photography, art direction, and on-set styling, with experience directing photo shoots to achieve brand excellence.
  • In-depth understanding of the online luxury market and customer preferences, with effective communication skills to align teams with business goals.
