Styling Assistant

PURPOSE:

Assist the Brand Styling team with shoot preparation and logistics, product pulls and on-set support to ensure styling aligns with brand direction and shoots run smoothly, delivering high-quality content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support product pulls for Tier 1 projects, assisting Styling Editors and Stylists to build looks and prepare for shoots.
  • Assist Stylists and Creative Consultants across brand projects. 
  • Assist Tier 2 and social shoots, including preparation, set-up, and on-set support. 
  • Handle stock control and sample organisation, ensuring products are tracked, prepared, and returned correctly.
  • Assist with on-set organisation, product handling, dressing looks and maintaining an organised workspace. 
  • Source samples from Showroom, Product Development, and Photo Studio teams. · Ensure all shot products are recorded and shared with relevant teams after shoots.
  • Work with teams such as Production, Events, and VIP when needed. 
  • Support styling research and gather inspiration references. 
  • Maintain and organise styling storage, kits, and documents. 
  • Provide general admin and ad hoc support to the Styling team. 
  • Assist the e-commerce photo studio when required 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 year experience within fashion industry 
  • Experience assisting styling womenswear and menswear, RTW or still life in editorial or commercial setting.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the luxury fashion industry 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines 
  • Proven ability to work quickly and effectively with an eye for detail 
  • Creative mind set · An understanding of Photography and Art Direction 
  • Ability to be flexible to working hours 
  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Capture One, Keynote and Excel good understanding of programmes preferable
