JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a skilled Sourcing Coordinator to support the seasonal placement and delivery of finished goods across Childrenswear product category. This role plays an important part in bringing collections to life, helping to ensure products are delivered to the right quality, at the right time and at the right cost. Working closely with vendors, Product Development, Technical, Quality Assurance and Customer Operations teams, you will help coordinate the end-to-end sourcing process with care, precision and pace. Through strong organisation and thoughtful partnership, you will contribute to the craft, consistency and commercial performance of Burberry’s supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate seasonal vendor communication, including production calendars, unit plans, minimums and key milestones, working with the Sourcing Manager to resolve challenges.
  • Manage raw material bookings, call-offs and purchase order activity to support production needs in line with delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate seasonal order information, vendor costs and delivery updates across relevant systems, including PLM.
  • Partner with Product Development, Technical and Quality Assurance teams to support critical sign-off dates and help resolve quality or production issues.
  • Analyse seasonal pricing, margins, vendor performance and pre-buy versus actual requirements, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support consistent ways of working across sourcing teams, including weekly production updates, workload prioritisation and guidance for Sourcing Assistants where required.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience in sourcing, production, manufacturing or a related supply chain environment, ideally within fashion, luxury, retail or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of costing, negotiation, production calendars and retail maths.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with SAP or PLM experience beneficial.
  • Clear and considered communicator, able to build trusted relationships with vendors and cross-functional partners.
  • Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage priorities and follow through on actions.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a practical approach to solving problems and supporting seasonal change.
