The Raw Material Procurement Manager will effectively and efficiently coordinate the procurement of raw material for Non Apparel achieving and exceeding financial goals and On Time Delivery KPIs  through the creation and maintenance of sound supplier relationships, as well as oversee the procurement of Raw Materials including leather, fabric and metal hardware through cross functional planning and effective utilisation of excess RM.


  • Build and establish collaborative partnerships with suppliers, ensuring effective procurement in line with company policies .
  • Drive and execute the placement of RM activities in line with the procurement critical path
  • Drive the cost negotiation in line with volume and competitors bench marking
  • Support in negotiation, matrix & risk management,  capacity management, performance  & exit strategies
  • Drive and execute the pre buy placement across the supplier base in line with forecasts and  approval process on pre buy tool Excel and Bookit 
  • Ensure pre buys are accurately documented and updated with any changes on pre buy tool (BookIt)
  • Optimise order management, capacity management and excess management
  • Issue suppliers with vendor allocation and priority
  • Track & monitor timely RM deliveries in line with allocation and priority
  • Anticipate procurement or supply issues and expedite
  • Ensure good visibility of procurement performance
  • Coordinate the seasonal/annual review of excess, establishing reasons and suggesting improvement areas for mitigating risk
  • Support supplier performance management feedback and suggest appropriate response mechanism and action in accordance with guidance from Senior Team.
  • Action the excess management activity (action transfer to consolidated warehouse, support excess payment,  manage excess queries, support disposal activities)
  • Responsible for driving the effective use of systems and maintenance and accuracy of data

  • Maximising supplier capacity against business needs
  • Strong costing and negotiation skills. 
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications. 
  • Familiar with and proficient in retail math. 
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and time management skills. 
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with peers and cross-functional business partners. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through. 
  • Willingness to travel as required. 
  • Organised, efficient, self-motivated, solution-oriented individual. 
  • Works well as both team leader and team member. 
  • Ability to react to change. 
  • Proficient in PLM/SAP. 
  • Foreign languages preferred: Italian
