Sourcing Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE

The Sourcing Coordinator manages the seasonal placement and follow-through of finished goods for a particular category(ies), in a manner congruent with the supply chain objectives: delivering quality product, on time and at the right price.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate seasonal calendars and raw material requirements with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving production challenges.
•  Liaise with Product Development, Technical, Quality Assurance, and Customer Operations teams to ensure accurate BOMs, fit approvals, and order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate vendor cost data in PLM, monitor material usage, and support seasonal pricing and margin analysis.
• Ensure adherence to buying and delivery timelines, prepare updates for production meetings, and support standardised sourcing processes across divisions.
• Support and develop junior team members, contributing to overall team efficiency and performance.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Strong background in production or manufacturing, with proven costing and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP and PLM is a plus.
• Skilled in retail math, time management, and effective communication.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative and adaptable team player with leadership capabilities.
• Willing to travel; foreign language skills are advantageous but not essential.
