JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Product Developer manages the day-to-day operations of the product development team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of sample orders, calendars, and special projects. This role oversees vendor communication, cross-functional coordination, and supports VIC, MTO, Press/CE, campaign, and uniform orders. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team & Project Leadership
- Supervise the placement, tracking, and follow-up of sample orders by the PDs (RTW & Accessories) and Assistant.
- Provide guidance and support on technical and operational issues, escalating to the Senior PD Manager when needed.
- Ensure the seasonal sample calendar is maintained, updated, and communicated across stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the main point of contact for coordination with Merchandising, Press, CE, Sourcing, Production, and Logistics teams.
- Ensure clear and timely communication of order priorities, sample allocations, and delivery timelines.
- Align closely with the Senior PD Manager on campaign, MTO, VIC, and uniform projects to ensure accurate execution
- Order & Vendor Management
- Oversee all RM orders for Press, CE, and VIC requests, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Lead communications with vendors on behalf of the PD team, ensuring product specifications, timelines, and quantities are clearly managed.
- Monitor vendor performance, highlight risks or delays, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Manage the uniform project, including coordination of timelines, specifications, and vendor production
- Process & Reporting
- Consolidate updates on order tracking, delivery status, and spend for reporting to the Senior PD Manager.
- Ensure proper documentation, trackers, and sample records are maintained across the team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the PD function.
