JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Product Developer manages the day-to-day operations of the product development team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of sample orders, calendars, and special projects. This role oversees vendor communication, cross-functional coordination, and supports VIC, MTO, Press/CE, campaign, and uniform orders. RESPONSIBILITIES

Team & Project Leadership
Supervise the placement, tracking, and follow-up of sample orders by the PDs (RTW & Accessories) and Assistant.
Provide guidance and support on technical and operational issues, escalating to the Senior PD Manager when needed.
Ensure the seasonal sample calendar is maintained, updated, and communicated across stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the main point of contact for coordination with Merchandising, Press, CE, Sourcing, Production, and Logistics teams.
Ensure clear and timely communication of order priorities, sample allocations, and delivery timelines.
Align closely with the Senior PD Manager on campaign, MTO, VIC, and uniform projects to ensure accurate execution
Order & Vendor Management
Oversee all RM orders for Press, CE, and VIC requests, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
Lead communications with vendors on behalf of the PD team, ensuring product specifications, timelines, and quantities are clearly managed.
Monitor vendor performance, highlight risks or delays, and coordinate corrective actions.
Manage the uniform project, including coordination of timelines, specifications, and vendor production
Process & Reporting
Consolidate updates on order tracking, delivery status, and spend for reporting to the Senior PD Manager.
Ensure proper documentation, trackers, and sample records are maintained across the team.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the PD function.
