Senior Manager Outlet Planning

JOB PURPOSE
You will lead, inspire and take accountability for all Outlet planning activities across Burberry’s Outlet function. You will lead by example, acting as an ambassador for Burberry, fostering a culture of simplification, innovation and collaboration, and driving excellence across the Outlet channel.
You will be accountable for:
- Taking the lead in creating strategic and controlled inventory management of the Outlet channel, through the Corporate OTB process to achieve our sales, inventory and margin targets
- Commercial insights in driving pre-season and in-season decisions (with a key focus on promotions) to ensure improved inventory productivity, drive sales and deliver margins.
- Collaborating with Outlet Merchandising, Finance, Commercial Strategy and all Regional teams to ensure alignment
RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Outlet Planning Management
- Responsible for the forecasting of sales, margin and inventory at a global and regional level based on historical data, market trends and seasonal insights
- Accountable for the Outlet OTB including intake, transfers, delist and consolidations in line with the overall annual Sales, Margin and Inventory strategy
- Accountable for alignment with Finance on Fiscal budgets and Forecasts, incorporating product strategies for Sales, Margin and Inventory
- Assess and challenge regional Open to Buy submissions ensuring optimal and efficient inventory and productivity assumptions.
- Accountable for highlighting risks and opportunities to targets, and gaining alignment across teams based on shifts in delist strategy from Full Price
- Responsible for cross functional partnership with Outlet Merchandising, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance and Regional Outlet teams to ensure operational efficiency of Outlet process

- Demonstrated excellence across all aspects of Outlet planning, including financial/commercial planning, Outlet inventory management and global Open to Buy management
- Effective communication skills, with proven experience in influencing with credibility up to C-suite
- Strong leadership skills: inspiring, energising and instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
- Creative, innovative and customer-oriented when faced with business challenges
- Strong decision-making capability
