JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Manager, Technology Transformation is responsible for driving continuous transformation across Burberry IT, ensuring that technology capabilities and ways of working continually evolve, enabling the delivery of our Technology Strategy and ensuring that changes are effectively embedded, adopted and sustained over time.

The role partners closely with the IT leadership to shape transformation narrative, improve engagement and trust across IT and the business, and ensure that change is coordinated, communicated, and supported consistently across the technology organisation. The role is also responsible for defining and maintaining the technology transformation scorecard and associated strategic progress measures, ensuring leadership has clear visibility of organisational effectiveness, capability evolution, adoption progress and delivery against Burberry’s Technology Forward strategy.

It provides the central capability for transformation coordination, change management, communications and engagement across IT, connecting strategic change priorities and evolving ways of working to measurable behavioural and operational outcomes while working closely with the Portfolio Management Office SIAM, Enterprise Architecture and Delivery teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own IT-wide change management activities for transformation and operating model evolution, including defining adoption measures, tracking behavioural change and embedding new ways of working
  • Define, track and report strategic non-financial transformation outcomes, including organisational effectiveness, operational maturity, risk reduction, compliance improvement, audit remediation progress and cross-functional optimisation measures.
  • Drive continuous improvement of transformation and engagement processes, ensuring changes to ways of working remain lightweight, scalable and minimally disruptive to delivery teams.
