JOB PURPOSE

 

As the The Global Mobility Manager you responsible is to shape Burberry’s global mobility strategy. You will manage international employee relocations end to end, while advising internal and external stakeholders on mobility policies, practices, and compliance requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing, documenting, and implementing the global Burberry Mobility strategy and policies
  • Providing guidance and recommendations to management teams in relation to mobility packages and processes, including the financial implications and risks of mobile employees and how these can be mitigated
  • Creating cost estimates and develop governance process to enable better decision making around relocations
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience throughout global mobility moves
  • Proactively manage risk and compliance in all areas of Global Mobility
  • Coordinating monthly global expat payroll for the mobile population
  • Driving continuous improvement in all aspects of mobility including review of external vendors such as relocation agencies and/or technology solutions
  • Managing annual projects and initiatives as required, including annual tax returns, short-term business visitor reporting, specific country tax reporting (e.g P11d,s PSA, 1099-NEC), and themobile employee annual pay review cycle

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Proactive, independent and excited at the prospect of solving problems in a state of business transformation
  • Experience managing all aspects of global mobility, including international moves, short-term business visitors, and cross-border work
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and building strong relationships across different cultures and regions
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex topics simply and professionally and deal with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
  • Good understanding of key mobility areas like tax, social security, immigration, and employment law
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, especially when dealing with compliance and policy matters
  • Self-motivated, organised, and focused on delivering excellent service and meeting deadlines
