JOB PURPOSE

To assist in the delivery of the companies compliance/ controls strategy and ensure day to day cross border shipments are effectively tracked and logged within the product development and raw materials space.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as the administrator within our Product development/ Raw materials team tracking and managing samples flowing in and out of our head office.

  • Keep an excel database of all shipments inbound and outbound samples onto data base.

  • Look up relevant product details in PLM system as needed to complete tracking log entry

  • Prepare simple metrics tracking the number of shipments per year.

  • Oversee and Liaise with (UPS, Fedex, DHL, Worldnet) to resolve issues

PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Experience of small volume high value shipment logistics preferred

  • Previous experience in a freight and carrier Company

  • Good administrative skills

  • Basic use of SAP preferred

  • Intermediate excel skills

  • Good standard of English

  • Ability to work in a team as well as being confident to work independently

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrates initiative and drive to meet deadlines and work in a diverse environment

  • Basic Italian language preferred
