ESG Program Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The ESG Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a wide range of ESG programmes across the supply chain. This role will focus on ensuring compliance with ESG-related legislation, driving sustainable supply chain practices, and leading transformational initiatives that align with the company’s long-term sustainability goals.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ESG regulations, supply chain operations, and experience in managing complex projects within the luxury or retail sectors.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program Development & Execution:
    • Define and build comprehensive ESG programs that align with the company’s sustainability and supply chain transformation goals.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to execute these programs, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Partner with internal (e.g., Sourcing, Product Development, Internal Manufacturing) and external (e.g. Vendors, Manufactures) stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful integration of ESG initiatives into supply chain processes.
  • ESG Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure full compliance with global and regional ESG regulations and standards (e.g. EUDR, CSRD, UFLPA, etc.), including human rights, environmental impact, and corporate governance requirements.
    • Stay informed about emerging ESG legislation and assess its potential impact on the supply chain.
    • Develop and implement processes and systems for ESG data collection, reporting, and audit preparation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, regulators, and industry bodies, to communicate ESG progress and compliance efforts.
    • Work closely with the cross functional teams, including Corporate Responsibility to align on overall company ESG strategy and objectives.
    • Prepare and present reports, metrics, and insights for leadership teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Risk Management & Mitigation:
    • Proactively identify risks related to ESG compliance and supply chain sustainability and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and analyse ESG performance across the supply chain, recommending improvements and best practices for continuous enhancement.
       

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management 
  • Preferred knowledge of global ESG legislation, compliance requirements, and industry best practices, especially in the retail or fashion sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale multi-stakeholder programs and driving transformation across complex supply chains.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams at various levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently and deliver results within tight timelines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
