INTRODUCTION

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Creative Director – Beauty, a cross-departmental role entails bringing Burberry’s fragrance and make-up products to life through merging innovative storytelling, technology and commerce. The 
position relies on a confident creative with energy and a good understanding of luxury aesthetic and digital  design. The role demands someone who’s passionate about contemporary visual culture and digital landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading on all digital design outputs and activations for Burberry Beauty across art direction, creative tech, digital product and digital media 
  • Creatively driving large scale digital projects from conception through production to live date, while collaborating with Digital, Art Direction, Marketing. licensee COTY teams and external partners 
  • Serving as a brand guardian to the licensee partner, external agencies and freelance talent to define high quality creative and deliver on-brand content and experiences
  • Collaborate with project management and licensee partner to appoint and evaluate digital partners and collaborators for best-in-class execution
  • Attend and consult on photoshoots, ensuring that relevant content is produced with digital-first approach
  • Translate Burberry Beauty campaigns into digital guidelines for programatic advertising and 3rd party usage as well as oversee deliveries and implementation

  • An appreciation for clean design with experience working on luxury / fashion brands preferable
  • A passion for all things media – with a clear interest in storytelling through your work, and an ability to understand what makes great content and effective advertising
  • Strong skills in content creation and curation – with a great design sensibility
  • A can-do attitude, with confidence in your visual style and design opinion
  • Should possess an ability to empower others and lead by example
  • An experienced & highly motivated designer, consistently seeking to further your own progression and 
  • reach new levels in terms of creative and innovative output
  • A clean and considered design style, with a strong sensibility for the fashion aesthetic and a great eye for detail
  • Strong working knowledge of design principles across web (UX and UI), AR, gaming and leading social media channels
  • Proficiency in digital design tools including Sketch and Figma, as well as Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, AfterEffects)
  • Strong understanding of production of still, moving image and CG content
  • Great taste, with a good appreciation and knowledge of both the Fashion and Beauty industry.
  • Live and breathe creative, with an outside interest in content and innovation
