Working as part of the burgeoning creative team at Burberry in a young and exciting area of the business, focused on Fragrance and Beauty products. Reporting to the Beauty Creative Lead, the candidate will be involved in conception, execution and the application of campaign graphics, packaging and creative in both their physical and digital applications. 

We are looking for a cross functional candidate who has a strong eye with an innate understanding of the luxury fashion sector. An individual who is at home creating the identity of a fragrance launch, developing outer packaging and collaborating on the application of that style and form across physical areas.

A designer who has a 360 approach and is able to think strategically outside of their immediate remit.

 Personal Profile: 

  • Experience in print campaigns for a global brand, across mediums including Magazine, Newspaper and large scale outdoor.
  • A self-motivated, highly organised and experienced creative with acute attention to detail who has the ability to prioritise.
  • Has a positive, collaborative attitude and can work under tight timelines and is able to multi-task in a pressurised and fast paced environment. 
  • A passionate individual with a strong luxury fashion sensibility, who possesses a strong design and photographic aesthetic with an in depth knowledge of design, photographic and creative references.
  • A strategic thinker, creative problem solver and a great communicator. 
  • A fantastic portfolio with evidence of design leadership on global campaigns, showing projects from conception to completion – exhibiting strong typography and layout skills, packaging design and an eye for art direction.

  • Excellent typographic, layout and design skills with a keen eye for imagery supported by thorough and dynamic research and references. 
  • Culturally engaged in the Art, Design and Photographic landscape and is passionate about bringing creative ideas to life.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Experience of concepting and execution of a wide range of creative projects across physical, digital and motion.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to shape a projects aesthetic from inception through to delivery.
  • Working with the creative lead to develop visual brand identities for fragrances and launches and ensuring this is central to all related creative application.
  • Lead and manage projects from concept to execution whilst meeting marketing requirements and working closely with Project Management and Production teams to ensure good and timely delivery.
  • Developing layout concepts for future and current media campaigns and overseeing the guideline creation for global campaign launches.
  • Sourcing references and defining pre-shoot requirements.
  • Creating and delivering presentations to the highest standard.
  • Proactive in identifying issues, exploring and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Meet rigorous deadlines and be flexible enough to adapt to altering priorities.
  • Consistently seek to push the boundaries of graphic creative in terms of innovation and storytelling.
  • Oversee the creative output of external supplies and production agencies to ensure consistent quality.
  • Liaising with the wider Creative Media team to ensure content is used effectively.
  • Working collaboratively with others within the creative team, supporting the Creative Lead and the wider team members (Packaging, Art Directors, POS) when necessary.
