Design Graduate Internship - Soft Accessories

As a graduate intern the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be an integral part of our creative process, supporting our Designers to build creative and inspired collections
How will you contribute?
· - Assisting the Soft Accessories design team throughout all stages of the design process from research through to sketching and creating full ranges.
· - Responding to general needs of the team in picking up all design related tasks.
· - Managing colour palettes, fabric libraries and preparing presentation boards.
· - Undertaking design administrative related tasks such as photocopying, archiving and tracking vintage samples.
About you
· - Degree in Fashion Design with a strong interest and understanding of textiles, or Degree in Woven Textiles or Mixed Media Textiles (BA or MA)
· - Portfolio that includes a breadth and diversity of textile design and fabric manipulation
· - Great understanding and use of colour
· - An eye for detail and interest in the technical side of textile design
· - Excellent communication skills
· - Organised and team orientated
· - Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
· - Strong hand sketching skills
· - Confident use of Photoshop/Illustrator/CAD Design
· - Exceptional visual presentation skills, mood boards, range boards and colour presentations etc.
· - Fluency in English (Essential)
