JOB PURPOSE

We are hiring a Category Manager to help shape how Burberry partners with technology suppliers across our global business. This role strengthens the connection between procurement, IT, and the teams who rely on seamless digital capability every day. You will contribute to strategic projects while supporting day‑to‑day procurement activity, bringing clarity, commercial thinking, and trusted partnership to stakeholders across London and Leeds. Your work will help us deliver value, innovation, and long‑term resilience in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead category management for an assigned IT sub‑category and support wider IT procurement needs.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and strategic suppliers to align priorities and deliver value.
• Develop and deliver category strategies that drive innovation, quality and operational excellence.
• Manage the full lifecycle of contracts through effective supplier relationship management.
• Provide clear, data‑led reporting on savings, performance and project progress.
• Partner with Legal and InfoSec to ensure high‑quality, compliant agreements.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Experience in IT category management with confidence analysing data and communicating insights clearly.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence across a complex organisation.
• Strong problem‑solver able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
• Comfortable managing competing priorities while working collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers.
• Skilled negotiator with sound judgement and the ability to navigate change.
