JOB PURPOSE
Burberry is looking for a talented Campaign Designer to join our Marketing & Comms team. Within this role you will partner with the media marketing team to deliver cohesive and compelling fashion and brand campaigns across Print, OOH and Digital platforms to a luxury standard of excellence. You will work closely with Art Directors to bring the Chief Creative Officer’s vision to life globally, tailoring campaigns for 14 markets while respecting regional preferences for product and talent to campaign curation across bookings.
You will innovate with bespoke formats to inspire and elevate brand awareness, optimising digital ads for engagement and conversion. Reporting to the Senior Designer: Campaigns, you’ll work independently on key campaign elements, presenting polished, detail-driven ideas to Marketing Directors and Creative Leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• On-the-spot problem solving and collaboration with Global & Regional Media, Art Direction, Project Management, Versioning and Post-Production teams, with the ability to balance multiple considerations and make a rationalised recommendation.
• Translate Art Director’s vision for campaign layouts into technical guidelines, subsequently making individual judgements on how the design system and image specificities scale in application over multi-faceted global bookings.
• Guide external versioning partner on design direction of campaign guidelines and quality standards of individual artwork approvals, taking responsibility as the last point of call before these are released for production by local vendors.
• Create bespoke media formats and respond creatively with dynamic and pragmatic options that are relevant to the brand.
• Engage with broader brand narratives as guided by Marketing and Creative teams, applying a sense of storytelling effectively in the curation of campaign assets.
PERSONAL PROFILE
• A driven multi-disciplinary designer with 3+ years of experience, eager to master all aspects of the fashion business and campaign process.
• Exceptional taste and a portfolio showcasing expertise in layout, imagery, typography, and content curation with a strong fashion aesthetic.
• Proficient in key digital advertising platforms, iOS best practices, and applying holistic usability to designs.
• Skilled in bringing ideas to life across print, digital, and video, with the ability to mock-up and prototype creative concepts effectively.
• Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments, anticipating campaign needs and coordinating with contributors.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Keynote); experience with Figma and PowerPoint is a plus.
