JOB PURPOSE
To support the Outlet Merchandising team in delivering sales, margin, and stock objectives through effective trading analysis, range support, administration, and system accuracy. The role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day merchandising operations and strong commercial decision-making within an outlet environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support weekly trade meetings by analysing sales, stock and sell-through performance
- Prepare summaries highlighting risks, opportunities and actions to optimise category performance in weekly trade
- Assist in building and maintaining seasonal range plan aligned to outlet strategy
- Support category and product level analysis for range planning and productive product assortment
- Set up and maintain key merchandising files and trackers
- Manage accuracy of seasonal market documents / tools including PLM / Kubix data entry, product details presentations and excel databases
- Coordinate with Digital and 3D teams to ensure timely setup and accurate management of product imagery
- Ensure regular system updates so all options, pricing and data are accurately set up and ready for trade
- Provide day-to-day merchandising administration, ensuring trackers, reports and documents are accurately maintained and meeting deadlines according to critical path
- Coordinate sample orders, tracking and organisation to support Outlet events and business activities
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the competitor market and conduct competitor analysis including pricing analysis
- Coordinate and support all administration duties relating to market / product training for the Merchandising and regional teams
- Prepare seasonal hindsight / sales analysis to inform seasonal buy and regional product selection
- Cooperate with sourcing regularly regarding production and deliveries
- Develop relationships with cross functional peers across sourcing, design, product development and planning; influencing them in delivering strategic direction for the category
- Support with any ad hoc administration to ensure smooth running of the team
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Experience in merchandising, preferably in a luxury environment
- Retail math skills and understanding of product cost, achieving a balance between creativity and commercial implications
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with credibility, share information effectively, and collaborate confidently with cross functional teams at all levels
- Excellent diligence, attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Computer skills: advanced Excel, Powerpoint, SAP, PLM/Kubix
