Burberry is the leading Digital luxury brand, and we are looking for a talented and highly motivated Assistant Digital Designer to work across their global media channels.

Being one of the biggest luxury advertisers in the world, Burberry requires someone with a keen interest in the field of digital media, to drive large-scale, global campaigns where creativity, innovation and pixel perfection is key.

You:

  • A highly creative mind, looking to challenge themselves in an environment that encourages fresh thinking and innovative practice
  • You should hold a strong interest in the world of Digital media – across the various channels it encompasses, with an understanding for what makes great advertising
  • Should have confidence in expressing your creative ideas and an ability to quickly formulate concepts
  • A passion for storytelling through your work, with an eye for Art Direction and content curation
  • You should possess a strong sensibility for the fashion aesthetic, coupled with a clean and simple design style

Responsibilities: 

  • Concept and design for digital campaigns across Email, Burberry.com and 3rd Party retailers
  • A key player in the creative concepts for upcoming digital media campaigns; taking projects through from concept, to delivery
  • Creative content creation for use across global digital channels
  • Working collaboratively within a design team, demonstrating an ability to assist others in your team when necessary
  • Working closely with internal Art Direction and Development teams to ensure bring ideas from concept through to reality.

Requirements:

  • A highly motivated Assistant Designer with a strong eye for detail and a drive to develop and learn from others
  • A portfolio exhibiting strong design and conceptual skills (whether in education or in industry) and a fresh approach to design challenges.
  • Knowledge of global digital platforms, including the constraints and creative possibilities of each
  • Experience in designing for Email, with experience in storyboarding and animation beneficial
  • A creative mind, that thrives on story telling through their design work
  • Experience in content creation for either digital or print usage
  • An ability to quickly formulate ideas – whether through sketches, animated storyboards or mockups
  • Someone with cultural awareness of the design landscape with respect to current creative and marketing trends
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with other members of the team and departments.
