Assistant, GLOBAL Merchandise Planning - Replenishment

JOB PURPOSE
RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess global replenishment forecasts for assigned Divisions/Areas, driving accountability for forecast accuracy

Maintain Global Board Line Cards for replenishment items, ensuring adherence to the monthly critical path

Support the Global Single Pool of Inventory, including forecasting future procurement by size and managing weekly stock allocations

Communicate weekly allocations and stock drops to regional teams

Partner with assigned Region(s) to define optimal A&R parameters, champion global alignment, and identify opportunities for growth

In collaboration with the Planner, assess global replenishment line cards to ensure adherence to Weeks of Cover (WOC) across stores and hubs

Co-lead the global replenishment buy process, ensuring alignment with seasonal plans

Prepare commercial analysis to highlight missed opportunities and provide hindsight to inform future collection development

Support fellow Replenishment Planners with free stock drops to optimise inventory

Assist in forecasting and planning replenishment margin for seasonal planning inputs

Own and maintain parameters within the Global Line Card, including additions, removals, seasonal setups, and link line management

Review replenishment size-level procurement and drive Single Pool Inventory allocations to regions

Build and maintain functionality within the line card to support evolving business processes

Monitor trading and buy summaries to identify anomalies against hub WOC, Mins, and Maxes

Update training documentation and deliver ongoing training on line card usage to regional partners

Maintain strong collaboration with IT to ensure data inputs are accurate, sustainable, and fit for purpose
PERSONAL PROFILE
-
Experience in a global planning role within a commercial or luxury environment, ideally at an Assistant Planner or Allocator level
-
Demonstrated experience supporting replenishment buy processes

Customer‑centric mindset with strong problem‑solving capability

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships
-
Exceptional attention to detail and advanced analytical skills

Experience with SAP is highly advantageous
