JOB PURPOSE
The Architecture Practice Co-ordinator keeps the IT Architecture practice running smoothly. They coordinate architecture forums and governance cadences, maintain documentation and decision records, track architecture demand and resource allocation, and manage the operational activities that allow Enterprise Architects, Senior Solution Architects and Solution Architects to focus on strategy, design, governance and delivery support. The role requires someone who can build effective working relationships, communicate clearly and persuasively, and help move agreed actions forward in a constructive, organised and consistent way. This is an operational coordination role, not an architecture design role.
