JOB PURPOSE

At Burberry, we believe in creating exceptional experiences- for our customers and for our people. As our new Technical Architect for Digital Workplace, EUC & IAM, you’ll play a key role in shaping the technology that empowers our colleagues around the world. If you enjoy solving complex challenges, influencing future‑ready platforms, and staying hands-on with evolving tech, this could be your next step. You’ll join our Digital Workplace & IAM function as a trusted technical expert, helping us create secure, intuitive, and seamless digital experiences. Working across engineering teams, vendors and stakeholders, you'll guide both strategy and delivery- while staying close to the technology itself.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shape and evolve architecture across Digital Workplace, EUC and IAM, ensuring alignment to Burberry’s standards and security frameworks.
  • Lead technical design and delivery for workplace platforms, including SOEs for Windows, macOS, mobile and specialised devices.
  • Optimise performance and experience using DEX insights—analytics, telemetry and sentiment data.
  • Drive resilient identity services including Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, Conditional Access, SSO and lifecycle automation.
  • Contribute to governance forums and maintain high‑quality architectural documentation across the Architecture Repository.
  • Support troubleshooting of major incidents and complex device or identity issues alongside Service and Engineering teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Copilot), Intune, JAMF and DEX tooling (e.g., Nexthink).
  • Strong knowledge of IAM practices and technologies: SSO (SAML/OIDC), Conditional Access, MFA and PAM; SailPoint, PingID or BeyondTrust desirable.
  • Expertise in device lifecycle management, endpoint security and Zero Trust principles across global environments.
  • Clear communication, collaborative mindset, and the ability to make complex technology accessible to all.
  • Experience designing or supporting solutions in hybrid multi‑cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Alibaba).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Intune, JAMF) or equivalent practical experience.

Burberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
