Our Retail IT team are looking for a  business facing Project Manager to lead on global retail transformation projects. The Retail IT Team are responsible for running and delivering projects to the systems and applications used to run Burberry’s global store estate, consisting of over 500 stores. 

You will lead delivery of IT projects across the entire project lifecycle from initiation through to project closure.  You will be instrumental in engaging Retail business teams, IT teams and suppliers to deliver projects to quality standards, ensuring alignment to scope, carefully managing the plan, the finances and associated risks & issues.

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables  

  • Engage business functional or IT stakeholders to establish project sponsorship, and collaboratively draft project charters 

  • Establish project plans and initiate project discovery by confirming project scope, budget estimate, resources, roles and responsibilities 

  • Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date project plans, continually revising to reflect changes in the project – and manage third party providers to ensure adherence to planning expectations 

  • Manage project financials including initial estimates, budgets and forecasts 

  • Create and maintain accurate Risk / Assumption / Issues / Dependencies (RAID) logs and ensure that the relevant parties are involved in addressing each factor 



  • You will have delivered large scale projects within the retail space – this is essential for the role. 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills 

  • You’ll be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to priorities multiple pieces of work with conflicting deadlines.
