JOB PURPOSE
As a Procurement Analyst at Burberry, you’ll play a key role within the Procurement Team in helping to manage key processes and full adoption of procurement systems across the business. Your role will support our internal colleagues with our buying systems, investigating and resolving any issues in a timely and helpful manner.
This Procurement Analyst role is offered on a full time, permanent basis and will be based in our Queen Street, Leeds office for a minimum of 2/3 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing cases in BMC Helix (our service and operations system) ensuring that SLAs are met
- Helping buyers with Ariba issues, training individuals in the Procure to Pay (PTP) process and resolving any queries
- Ensuring processes and procedures are followed by the business, including purchase order raising and goods receipting
- Resolution of invoice exceptions in partnership with Accounts Payable
- Support the setup and maintenance of suppliers in Ariba
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Experience in a customer service role (internal or external customers) in a commercial organisation. We don't need you to have procurement/purchasing experience, but an interest or curiosity in this area would be great
- High level of competence in MS Office products
- Fluent in English (both verbal & written) essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with SAP/ARIBA useful, but full training can be given
- Ability to absorb large quantities of information and identify key points
