JOB PURPOSE

To support the Operations Manager in the efficient running of the stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Raise POs for Operations and maintenance activities.
  • Order equipment for all retail sites such as maintenance goods, contractual services etc.
  • Extract reports to use as tools during commercial negotiation with suppliers to achieve better services and rates.
  • Support the stores during stock take preparation.
  • Execute regular store visits to conduct store capacity checks, Back of House standard review and liaise with store management over improvements to be made.
  • Ensure the scheduled contract work is carried out as necessary and as per local H&S requirements.
  • Planning access to stores for contractors to carry out works.
  • To respond to maintenance issues.
  • To be sure the relevant maintenance safety checks have been carried out and paperwork is maintained on site.
  • To ensure all machinery used in stores and those using the machines are compliant (tailoring equipment, engraving machines etc).
  • To support Operations Manager where necessary with procurement of services and goods for new store.
  • To assist with onsite set up of new store to be ready for trade.
  • To follow store opening and closing checklists to assist Operations Manager.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Previous experience in Retail Operations/Facilities coordination.
  • Excellent Communicator.
  • Structured methods and excellent planning skills.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Available to work during the night, on weekends and during public holidays when required.
