Senior Solutions Manager, Commercial IT

JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Solutions Manager, Commercial IT is responsible for overseeing and delivering all aspects of a solutions project from inception through to post-implementation phases while managing the Global Commercial IT Solutions portfolio and supports the IT Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Management:
- Manages the global portfolio for Commercial IT Solutions
- Develops plans, tools, processes, and structure for the day to day set up and monthly prioritization at Commercial Portfolio Review (Forum)
- Manages the Global Solutions Portfolio budget and finances for Commercial IT, governs the process and responsible for overall portfolio reporting
Project Governance & Competency Development:
- Works with the IT Director to formulate and develop competency frameworks and implementation of internal development across Project Managers and Solution Managers
- Establishes best practices for Solution Projects and refine/develop processes required to ensure smooth operational efficiencies.
- Manages external IT vendors including leading, facilitating and working with relevant stakeholders for RFP’s, solution design and contractual negotiations.
- Works with Regional IT teams to manage and provide support where required
- Establishes and facilitates knowledge exchanges between project managers and facilitates internal development of skillsets
- Manages, coaches and develops people across projects and forums where applicable
Project Management/Delivery:
- Liaises with business and IT stakeholders globally to ensure requirements are captured, identified and included in the targeted solution
- Leads and manage global, Asia and Americas IT Solution projects from inception, development, deployment through to service and transition within budget and to completion
- Manages operational business and technical teams deploying new services, capacity planning, risk/contingency planning, and site architecture
- Manages and leads change with project implementation including designing, developing, co-ordination and delivering IT Solutions training to the business stakeholders
- Manages and tracks project budgets and provides reporting to relevant stakeholders across the organization, ensures projects stay within project budgets
Additional Tasks:
- Supports Senior IT Management on any ad hoc tasks and projects where required
- Leads and oversees regional problem resolution and engages relevant resources/stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Provide advisory services to other central-based towers for deployed and/or deployment of solutions, and a regional liaison where required.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Solid experience and proven track record in IT field
- Proven extensive business partnering experience with strong relationship management
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skill
- Professional, passionate, innovative, self-driven and able to present solutions to diverse group of stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logical and creativity
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Experiences in driving technical innovation
