JOB PURPOSE

In this role, you will support the Store Manager in driving category performance, overseeing the sales team to ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will play a key role in achieving sales targets, providing real-time coaching, and upholding the Burberry Experience and Behaviours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster a deep passion for the Burberry brand, ensuring continuous engagement and knowledge across the store team.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, acting as a brand ambassador and demonstrating Burberry behaviours.
  • Coach, monitor, and provide feedback to the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Uphold a luxury environment, ensuring flawless execution of Visual Merchandising guidelines.
  • Focus on retaining and developing top talent within the store team.
  • Inspire, lead, and manage a high-performing and positive store team.
  • Drive team growth through recruitment, development, mobility, and succession planning.
  • Cultivate a learning culture, strengthening the team’s connection to the Burberry brand.
  • Ensure outstanding product knowledge across the team to enhance the customer experience.
  • Analyse sales performance, optimise inventory, and implement strategies to drive commercial success.

  • Experience in a luxury brand or in a luxury service and selling environment.
  • Retail Management experience appropriate to the role, to be assessed based on the size and complexity of previous roles. Metrics will include sales turnover and volume and the number and types of roles previously managed.
