Leather Goods Repair Specialist

You will be a product expert in repairs on finished good products (bags, wallets, belts) arriving from stores end retail teams. You will deal with all activities of repairing finished products and work with Quality Control department if needed on specific repairs on production finished products.


•    Repairing Leather goods according to Burberry standards. 
•    Work jointly with the After Sales Coordinator to ensure timeline is respected.
•    Detection of any problems on the products and definition of any related resolutions.
•    Identify raw materials needed to perform repair.
•    Manage with the After Sales Coordinator the spare part stocks and flow of products within the repair centre.
•    Prepare materials to perform the repairs.
•    Perform different activities needed (disassembling, cutting, splitting, skiving, gluing, positioning, pre-assembling, edge painting).
•    Validate the quality of the repair performed: functionality and aesthetic ; ensure product is neat and well finished.
•    Ensure with the Operation Manager that equipment are well maintained and safe to use.
•    Participate actively to the activities within the department
•    Collaborate with Modelleria, Logistic, Production and QC departments as needed to achieve repairs. 


•    Proven knowledge in leather goods products manufacturing (production and prototyping).
•    Excellent manual and technical skills.
•    Experience in leather goods product repairs a plus
•    Stitching competences a plus.
