JOB PURPOSE

As a Team Manager at Burberry’s Dubai Mall Flagship, you will be a dynamic and inspiring leader who champions the Burberry Experience through exceptional service, operational excellence, and a deep passion for luxury retail. You will lead a high-performing, customer-centric team to deliver outstanding results across all product categories, ensuring every client interaction reflects the brand’s heritage, creativity, and commitment to modern British luxury.

In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with the Store Director to drive commercial performance, elevate team capabilities, and cultivate a culture of excellence and inclusivity. You will act as a Burberry Ambassador, embodying our values and setting the standard for service, style, and innovation in one of the brand’s most iconic global locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver the iconic Burberry Experience and exceed sales targets.
  • Drive performance in a key product category through expert coaching, training, and commercial insight.
  • Champion exceptional client service, ensuring every customer receives personalised attention and no one is left unattended.
  • Foster strong collaboration across sales, stock, and operations teams to ensure seamless store execution.
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to elevate team capability and client engagement.
  • Support talent development through onboarding, monthly development plans, and performance reviews.
  • Take ownership of in-store training and lead by example in delivering outstanding service.
  • Resolve client issues with professionalism and uphold operational excellence in the absence of store management.
  • Embrace digital tools to enhance the client journey and team communication.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and high-energy team culture.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Advanced knowledge of POS system
  • Ability to handle complex customer service issues; (i.e. dissatisfied customers, complaints, returns, repairs & after-sales)
  • Able to use a fluent and professional dialogue with clients and staffs
  • Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and comfortable with the use of digital tools
  • 3-5 years previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales
