JOB PURPOSE

We are hiring a full‑time Client Advisor to join our Burberry team at Selfridges Birmingham on a fixed‑term contract until 28 August 2027. In this role, you will build strong relationships with both new and existing clients, delivering a personalised and elevated Burberry experience that drives commercial success. Reporting to the store management team, you will act as a brand ambassador, inspiring clients through your passion for fashion, craftsmanship and luxury. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, high‑performing store environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build meaningful, long‑term client relationships through personalised and engaging service.
  • Inspire clients by confidently conveying Burberry’s heritage, products and styling expertise.
  • Drive individual and store performance through a client‑focused and commercial mindset.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge across categories to support styling and selling.
  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation and professionalism on the shopfloor.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to support store and team success.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience delivering premium customer service within retail, hospitality or a service‑led environment.
  • A genuine passion for fashion, luxury and creating memorable client experiences.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with a diverse client base.
  • Confident in styling, selling and advising clients in a considered and authentic way.
  • Commercially aware, proactive and motivated to contribute to shared goals.
  • Reliable, adaptable and comfortable working full‑time within a retail environment.
