JOB PURPOSE

The Client Ambassador builds relationships with Burberry’s new and existing clients, focussing on maintaining and growing the portfolio of top clients in one or more key stores. 

Reporting to the regional area managers (when applicable), the Client Ambassador will inspire our top clients by conveying passion for the brand, fashion and luxury products.  

The Client Ambassador will demonstrate the highest skills in terms of client engagement, service, selling skills and will co-operate with store managers and retail management to deliver growth for the region.   

As an expert in clientelling, the Client Ambassador will act as a role model for Client Advisors to improve the overall knowledge of luxury service, styling and client engagement. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

SERVICE AND SALES 

Exceed individual and stores sales and other commercial KPIs  

Through storytelling and passion for the brand, inspire our clients by creating desire and love for Burberry with every interaction 

Provide a luxury service and demonstrate knowledge and expertise in product, fashion and styling 

Follow the Client journey to elevate the Client experience in the store: Ensure a great initial impression; discover your client, be a product and styling expert and close the sale to maintain the relationship with the client. 

Generate most of the sales through appointments and existing client retentions 

Eexceed elite customers sales KPIs 

Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Use visual techniques to maintain visual standards according to Burberry guidelines 

Act as a coach for Client Advisors and Senior Client Advisors on clientelling, styling, developing Elite clients portfolio 

Foster team work and a positive work climate 

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT 

Build meaningful relationships with new Clients 

Build relationships with existing high-potential clients to elevate their annual spending to Elite tier 

Maintain relationship with existing top client  

Support and coach Client Advisors and Senior Client Advisors in building and maintaining an Elite customers portfolio 

Support store managers to develop strategies to increase sales through appointments and existing client retention and develop sales from proactive recruitment of top-clients 

 Under the guidance of Client Engagement Manager, assist with execution of client engagement events, as appropriate 

PERSONAL PROFILE

A proven track record in delivering sales and exceeding targets 

Excellent interpersonalskills 

A proven track record in building relationship with high net worth clients and developing a VIC portfolio 

Excellent Clientelling experience 

A strong interest in fashion, art and culture  

Strong product knowledge and good understanding of store retail operations 

Excellent understanding of competitor products  

Experience in working as part of a team 

Fluent in local language; English language desirable 

Other language knowledge is desirable 

Demonstrates Confidence, Curiosity, Conviction, and Care  

Enjoys being part of a team 

Energetic, Pro-active and self-motivated 

Detail-oriented and creative with a passion for selling and for building relationships 

Assertive with impeccable presentation and communication skills when dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels
