JOB PURPOSE

We are hiring a Department Manager to support the leadership of our La Roca store, leading a team of approximately 25 colleagues to deliver exceptional client experiences and commercial results. As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to drive category performance, develop talent and create an environment where service excellence and client engagement thrive. Combining commercial awareness with people leadership, you will inspire high performance through coaching, feedback and role modelling the Burberry Experience and Burberry Behaviours. This is a 1 year FTC initially.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Store Manager in delivering sales, productivity and profitability targets across all categories.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of approximately 25 colleagues, creating an engaged and high-performing store environment.
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback on the sales floor to elevate client experience, selling performance and service standards.
  • Drive client engagement and loyalty by championing personalised service and long-term relationship building.
  • Analyse business performance, identify opportunities and implement actions that improve commercial outcomes.
  • Take ownership of daily store operations, ensuring operational excellence, compliance and an elevated luxury environment.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience leading teams within luxury, premium retail or customer-focused environments.
  • Strong coaching and people development skills with a passion for helping others grow and succeed.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action.
  • Confident building relationships with clients, colleagues and cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences and situations.
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style aligned with Burberry's values and behaviours.
