JOB PURPOSE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead from the shop floor as a Burberry ambassador, role-modelling service excellence and coaching the team to deliver consistently elevated customer experiences.
- Embed customer-first behaviours and build a clienteling culture, developing long-term relationships that deepen loyalty and strengthen brand connection.
- Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team through inclusive leadership, succession planning and a learning culture connected to the Burberry brand.
- Champion product knowledge and commercial insight across the team, using sales performance and stock awareness to optimise opportunities in-store.Maintain a strong understanding of the local market—customers, competitors and talent—translating insight into actions that improve store performance and productivity.
- Drive operational excellence and compliance across the store, including corporate standards, policies and health & safety readiness
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Proven experience leading a store or multi-team retail environment, with a customer-led mindset and strong commercial judgement.
- A people-centred leader who builds trust, engagement and accountability through clear expectations and supportive coaching.
- Confident in developing clienteling behaviours and relationship-building capability across a team.
- Commercially curious and data-aware, able to spot opportunities and convert them into results through strong execution.
- Highly organised with strong operational discipline, able to maintain premium standards across service, environment and compliance.
- Passionate about product, craft and brand storytelling, with a natural ability to represent Burberry with pride and warmth.
