As an SAP Material Management (MM) Consultant you will be heavily involved in innovative proof of concept and design.  You will operate as part of an expert SAP team of Architects and Consultants driving a more lean and agile approach to delivery. Working in Burberry’s SAP team leverages the benefits of a close and explorative partnership with SAP.


  • Supporting the procure to pay solution architect to design robust, best practice solutions 
  • Working closely with our global supply chain teams to seamlessly deliver projects across multiple releases

  • Understanding needs, defining new requirements and implementing business processes and technical solutions
  • Develop strong supply chain relationships to understand business processes and future plans
  • Partner across IT to ensure integration within the solution
  • Manage relationships and drive quality standards with external suppliers
  • Govern projects that are delivered by implementation partners
  • Provide second/third line support to the supply chain business teams


  • Experience of working with blended teams delivering large-scale SAP transformation
  • A broad and deep understanding of SAP MM with solid design and configuration skills
  • Experience across multiple project lifecycles, from discovery to post go live support
  • Knowledge of and integration experience with SAP SD, PP, WM, LE and Planning modules
  • Excellent consulting, communication and client facing skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business
  • Experience in deploying SAP solutions in one or more of the following industries: Fashion retailing / retail, consumer products/FMCG
  • Strong conceptual design and analytics capabilities
