  • Elevate Womenswear and enhance luxury experience for the customer.
  • Increase conversion & drive productivity ensuring the right product at the right time and place.
  • Partner with Retail, Allocation, Planning, Visual Merchandising and Marketing teams to drive and achieve mainline financials, while delivering a consistent Fashion Brand message in all doors.
  • Spread customer intelligence awareness throughout EMEIA & GLOBAL Merchandising.
  • Refine and tailor assortment per door to boost productivity and sell through.
  • Work effectively as a member of the cross-functional department (Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Visual Merchandising).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Influence Womenswear category product assortment by providing detailed consumer and product feedback to global merchandising team
  • Regular contact with key stores & Regional Directors to understand trade and consumer patterns whilst adapting store profiling as necessary
  • Co-lead productivity streams
  • monitoring store / space productivity proposing layout and assortment changes in line with sales / stock
  • monitoring stock management, defining the most adequate stock in Stores/ Hub/ Digital to serve better the customer
  • Work side by side with planning partners to build seasonal financial plans by highlighting areas of opportunity, category sell through etc, thereby shaping the assortment architecture of the region
  • Buy by store through optimizing assortment/sizing by stores
  • Build outfitting and styling by tailoring product assortment whilst providing full store training
  • Partner with Allocation team to ensure that the right product is at the right place on the right time
  • Quarterly Product training roadshows in stores

IN MARKET

  • Prepare and produce seasonal Buy Analysis to direct ranging and ranking decisions during market
  • Cluster stores by customer profile, climate and store productivity
  • Analyse product category by climate cluster (Hot / Warm / Cold) and identify regional nuances and opportunities for growth
  • Buy by store including flagships, mainline stores, concessions, department stores and airport
  • Present buy to Regional Directors

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Considerable prior Merchandising / Buying Experience
  • Excellent understanding of fashion both Worldwide and Regional
  • Previous collection merchandising experience (essential), ideally within Womenswear
  • Demonstrates high commercial instinct and passion for product
  • Proven strong leadership and people management skills
  • Strong analytical and retail mind-set
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in fast paced and changing environment
  • Thrives under pressure
  • Art & Commerce balance
  • Degree or equivalent in Fashion Merchandising
