PURPOSE

The Business Analyst is responsible for all delivering all Business Analysis documentation and activities on select delivery streams and projects, and will be reporting into the Business Architecture team within Burberry’s IT department.

The purpose of the Business Architecture team is to ensure that strategic initiatives and programmes are articulated into meaningful project scopes, removing ambiguity from requirements before features are developed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis for Omni-channel Retail

  • Deliver all BA work on the assigned work stream, effectively managing the scope of each project from Discovery through to Transition
  • Inform and support the coordination of dependencies with other BA work streams (in particular w. the BA leads of the domains
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management for own work
  • Apply the BA Ways of Working and templates in work 
  • Actively work to support the goals of the Business Architecture team

           

PERSON PROFILE

  • Strong partnership and presentation skills
  • Open, inquisitive mind
  • Ability to create structure and lead by examples

The candidate should have a minimum of:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a traditional field like the sciences, engineering, or economics
  • Experience in Business Analysis for large projects or programmes of work
  • Experience in Retail, Supply Chain/Fulfillment or Omni-channel initiatives

The extraordinary candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Formal training in Agile scoping and delivery frameworks
  • Experience in project management
  • Background in strategic management consulting
