Assistant Merchandiser, Collection Merchandising - RTW

JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a skilled Assistant Merchandiser to join our Menswear Collection Merchandiser team. In this position, you will play a key role supporting the development of our strategic plan, working closely with Merchandising and collaborating across Sourcing, Planning, Product Development, and Design teams. You will help drive the entire product range management process in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and analysis sales reports on a style, fabric and colour selling level using excel to inform future design development 
  • Conduct competitive analysis including pricing analysis to drive pricing architecture guidance for the collection 
  • Assist in the building seasonal range-plans, product & pricing strategies and prepare all market related documents 
  • Partner with the corporate pricing team to understand price-bands across the three core currencies and report back findings to the Merchandising team
  • Assist in preparing and presenting the quarterly sales hindsight decks 
  • Assist in the global brand buy process with the regional teams, organise and coordinate collection notes and buying guides 
  • Coordinate and support all administration duties relating to market training for the Merchandising team
  • Manage all PLM data entry to ensure delivery and prices in all currencies are all up to date 

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Previous experience in Product Merchandising within a luxury brand
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Demonstrates Commercial instinct and taste level
  • Confident presenter with retail math skills
  • Team player with a collaborative approach
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
