Purpose:

Provide clarity on what is required for IT deliveries to satisfy business requirements from all stakeholders

Help delivery team prioritise deliveries to maximise business value and engage stakeholders

Support the process for handing over completed IT deliveries to business ownership

Responsibilities 

Solutions scoping and business analysis

Work with Business stakeholders in identifying business requirements for IT projects that maximise business impact / benefits within a realistic setting.

Document business requirements for small to mid-size IT projects in a continuous manor.

Visualise process changes in collaboration with business stakeholders and the IT user adoption team, to establish mutual understanding and accountability.

Liase closely with IT subject matter experts and Senior BAs in understanding the strategic and tactical context for projects within IT. Apply this understanding to the day-to-day deliveries.

Support Sr. Business Analysts in documentation and business interaction for large IT deliveries.

Supporting deliveries/development team:

Support development team in bringing clarity and context to delivery functionalities

Facilitating on-going conversations between business and technical stakeholders for IT deliveries in development

Attend daily stand-ups for IT projects to clarify business implications to technical challenges, help in the daily prioritisation of work for the delivery team

Support the user adoption team in successfully embedding new ways of working or the up take of new features and technologies

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree (ideally in a traditional field like the sciences, engineering, or economics) required.

Master’s degree is a plus.

Formal training in Agile scoping and delivery frameworks a plus

Experience in Agile methodologies a plus, in either: business analysis, user adoption or project management

Background in strategic management consulting a plus

Demonstrated interest in the creative industries or consumer goods preferred
