JOB PURPOSE

To provide strategic analysis to inform senior decision makers in support of the Strategic Planning activities, including analysis of internal and external strategic factors, environmental influences, market factors, demand, and capability & capacity assessments; through analysis of data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse data from a range of internal and external sources to produce strategic papers in support of organisational strategy
  • Produce regular strategic analysis to inform senior managers and corporate decision-making, including strategic demand profiling and capability & capacity assessments.
  • Create data as required by linking across key elements of the business such as Finance, TMO.
  • Research benchmarks
  • Produce ad hoc thematic research and analysis appropriate to corporate needs
  • Analyse and interpret any results drawing inferences and making recommendations as required
  • Produce reports and presentations for the VP of Strategy to be presented to the Board and SLT
  • Prepare for meetings and conferences as required.
  • General support to the strategy team

  • Professional experience in a similar role
  • Luxury retail experience or similar
  • Adaptability
  • Able to work across multiple levels of the organisation
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong financial background
  • Work with in a consulting organisation or similar an advantage
  • Confident
  • Inquisitive & organised
