The Fabric and Trim Development team work closely with Design and Product Development to realise the creative vision for each collection each season.  As Fabric Development Administrator for Womens Mainline you will support the team on all aspects of administration, research and development; ensuring all records are up to date and accurate, communications with vendors are clear and that all samples are tracked effectively and shipped in line with the Critical Path.  If you have a creative background with experience in a similar environment, dealing with high volumes, immpecable attention to detail and an affinity for the Burberry aesthetic, this could be a great opportunity to join us. 


  • Entering and maintaining accurate Fabric details including managing the critical path of lab dips for fabric
  • Archiving records of development and maintaining the library of all fabric
  • Organising the collection, shipping and tracking of samples and archive pieces
  • Assisting in the management of orders and maintenance of all data, pricing and testing
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships with vendors and assisting cross-functional partners

Personal profile;

  • Previous experience in a similar role desirable
  • Textile or fashion degree (or equivalent) an advantage
  • Passion for fabric design and development desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication; English essential, plus Italian desirable
  • Confidence using all programmes in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint) essential
  • Experience in the use of a data management system an advantage
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and problem solve
  • Ability to handle a fast pace and high level of pressure
  • Collaborative and flexible approach
