Burberry are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join their growing Brand Team, with a key focus on the design of our global print campaigns, as well as a wide variety of projects across all fashion and experience departments. Being one of the biggest luxury advertisers in the world, Burberry requires an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic designer with a keen interest in the field of fashion on both editorial and commercial levels.

Reporting into the Senior Graphic Designer, this role sits within the Creative Media Department’s Brand team. The candidate will play a large part in the development of Brand related projects, including typography, layout, illustration and image making, both internally and externally. They will also have a key role creating technical artworks and guidelines for global advertising campaigns and top-end printed collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising directly with graphic designers and art directors
  • Working as part of the Brand team with research and development of creative projects
  • Creating guideline documents for advertising campaigns and wider projects
  • Areas of relevance: print advertising; internal/external documents; brand guidelines; formatting and editing of content for in-store; invitations; brochures; packaging, artworking

The Person:

  • Strong eye for detail, perfectionist attitude
  • Dedication and ability to work under pressure and not phased by tight deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge of all Adobe Creative Suite software. Including Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator
  • Knowledge of presentation software (Keynote and Powerpoint)
  • Extensive understanding and experience of print process and digital campaign requirements
  • A developed understanding of colour processes
  • Consideration for others and willingness to grow within team
  • Problem solving mentality
  • Communication and teamwork will be of huge importance for this role 
  • Someone with cultural awareness of the design landscape with respect to current creative and marketing trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with other members of the team and departments
